Comparative Analysis of ADRC & PI Controllers Used in Wind Turbine System Driving a DFIG

Abstract


As part of this work, we study in first place the modeling and control strategies of the variable speed wind turbine based on DFIG, which remains the configuration most adopted and the most installed in the wind farms to ravers the world. The MPPT algorithm is used to extract the maximum of the power converted by the turbine in case of weak winds. Conventional control by PI regulators synthesized using the internal model control is presented, and then followed by robust control by Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC), and we finished by compares the performance of the two control strategies.
